Kurzbiographie

Wolfgang Bziuk received the Dipl.-Ing. and PH.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Braunschweig, Germany. In 1983, he was granted a scholarship from "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes". In 1986 he joined the Institute for Communication Systems and since 2000 he has been with the Institute of Computer and Network Engineering. He has been involved in the development of computer aided engineering tools for packet switched networks and has further worked in the area of traffic engineering, network planning, performance evaluation and simulation of broadband networks, primarily with applications to ATM networks. His current research interest include the development of mathematical methods for mobility modelling for wireless networks and connection admission control for broadband networks.

He is a member of the section 5.2.1 „System Architecture and Traffic Engineering“ of the German Information Technology Society (ITG)
