Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) for Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+MPSoC Platform

For future low-Earth orbit (LEO) missions, especially for Earth observation and satellite communication systems, a huge amount of data that needs to be downlinked to Earth for processing. Meanwhile, the acquired data are required to be handled, processed and transferred faster than before due to growing of missions’ productivity. Current processing architectures are limited by their computational performance. An S4Pro project, funded by European commission and under the Horizon 2020 programme, will develop an advanced and scalable processing system to cope with future data-intensive missions. In this thesis, multiple PCIe lanes, which can provide a throughput of multiple ten gigabit per second, shall be implemented to acquire the data delivering by radar.
