I conduct research on wireless communication systems for autonomous system, such as required for enhanced Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) applications. Specifically, the focus is on the timely and robust large data exchange (sensor data), a field that, so far, has not been suffisciently addressed by existing wireless communication standards. The middleware protocol and resource management mechanisms I work on try to bridge this gap to enable such large data application for system across various domains (automotive, industrial, robotics, …). Exemplary use cases addressed by the research so far include truck platooning (cf. IPF2.0 project), automated valet parking, sensor-equipped intersections as well as autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in industrial environments. For more information on my research I kindly refer you to my publications and the LOTUS project website.
I am responsible for the organsiation of the lecture “Einführung in Elektronische Syteme” as well as some exercises (parts of Prof. Saidi) accompanying the lecture. In case you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
